Fuse is composed with underframe, arc suppression device and arc extinguish device. When the fuse is in the closing position, dynamic and static contact is compressed by a compressed spring, to ensure that there is sufficient pressure between the contacts, on the lower end of arc extinguishing pipe arranged the rotatable torsion spring, after putting into the fuse elements, torsion spring is tightening, the fuse in a state of tension, to ensure the arc extinguishing pipe locking in the closing position. When the line is overload or short circuit and fusing, fuse wire with torsion spring, pulled out rapidly from the melting tube, and the thermal energy of the arc produced large arc gas in the melting tube, arc extinguish, to reduce the burning arc time and arc material loss.
When the arc is extinguished, the fuse tube will automatically dropped under the action of self weight and bridge type contact spring, making a fracture. The arc extinguishing pipe is designed into a step by step exhaust type. When breaking small current, gas is discharged from the lower end of the exhaust port. When breaking large current, gas rushed to open the upper cap, gas extinguished by upper and the lower ends of the exhaust port to meet the requirements of breaking different current on the same fuse.

The procuct is used in rated voltage 10KV,rated current 200A and below 50hz frequency and distribution transmission lines and distribution transformers.
